Metanorma: Aequitate Verum

Metanorma for ISO output formats

Metanorma for ISO output formats

ISO internally uses ISOSTS XML and NISO STS XML for the publication of standards.

Metanorma-ISO supports the generation of ISOSTS XML and NISO STS XML output formats for assisting the ISO editorial and publication process, in addition to the normal output formats of Metanorma intended for authors (html, doc, pdf).

ISO project teams could use these output files for the alignment and verification of the encoding performed by the ISO Editorial Team.

Note
The ISOSTS XML and NISO STS XML formats are only meant for ISO internal publication use, and not typically needed for project teams.

The accept format values of Metanorma-ISO output are as follows:

html_alt

HTML output with a more Web-like rendering (whereas html abides by ISO document style as much as possible)

sts

NISO STS XML

isosts

ISOSTS XML [added in https://github.com/metanorma/isodoc/releases/tag/v1.5.6]

Example 1. Generating ISOSTS and NISO STS XML output from an ISO document
