Write Chinese Standards with Metanorma

Metanorma-GB is a document processor & standard for creating Chinese Standards.

It can also be used to generate Chinese local or sector standards, which have the same format; it formats the title page to have the correct metadata displayed.

Standards are generated from AsciiDoc-based markup in a way that is compliant with GB/T 1.1.

Across Metanorma-GB documentation, "GB standard" should be read as referring to any Chinese national, sector or local standard.

Experimental flavor

Metanorma for GB is currently under heavy development.

While it could be used for document submission to GB, some glitches are possible.

We would greatly appreciate any such issues filed to its GitHub repository here metanorma-gb.

Quick start

  • Play with a sample Metanorma GB project

  • Build Metanorma for GB documents with a command like this:

    metanorma --type gb -x html {my-document-filename.adoc}
